In 2008, new Guatemalan laws governing adoptions were implemented.  New international adoption cases were suspended, indefinitely, and other in-country changes were made.

The hosts of this blog are friends and Guatamamas — Jodi and Mary — that were blessed to have completed their Guatemalan adoptions. They brought their beautiful babies home in late 2007.  However, their joy comes with an awareness that there are still many children in Guatemala that are in need.  The conditions for many of these children is precarious.  We are dedicated to not forgetting these children.
